Dr. Ramón Salcedo Cidoncha is a tenure track at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in Barcelona (Spain). His research focuses on the application of computational fluid dynamics (CFD), spray technologies, and environmental engineering. He has contributed extensively to several European and national R&D projects, particularly in the areas of pesticide spray optimization, sensor integration, and digital agriculture. Dr. Salcedo is also involved in international collaborations across Europe, China and the U.S., promoting interdisciplinary approaches to the digital transformation of agri-food systems from a point of view of the fluid dynamics.
